To search Land Records index online go to https://cotthosting.com/vtportal/   At the Vermont Town Clerks Portal page, you can sign in as a guest (upper left corner), then click on Wilmington to view the index at no charge.  If you need to view or print documents that are available, create an account by following the instructions on the home page.  There are a variety of minimal charges for access.  Per Vermont Statute, there is a charge for public records at $1.00 per page.

Appointments while not necessary are encouraged as our research room is small and can only accommodate two researchers at a time.

DOG LICENSES:

Dog licenses are available at the town clerk’s office.  A dog must have had a rabies inoculation not more than 36 months prior to the date of licensing for older dogs.  Not more than 12 months for puppies.  Licensing renewals due by April 1st.

The fee is $14 for dogs that are spayed or neutered and $18 if the dog is not spayed or neutered.

PROOF OF A CURRENT RABIES VACCINE IS REQUIRED.

Organizers hope to be able to offer a Wilmington dog clinic, providing low-cost rabies vaccination, in 2022.

Tractor Supply Stores are offering Rabies clinics for Cats & Dogs, call ahead for dates and times at these locations:

Bennington, 300 Depot St, 802-440-9937; Hinsdale, 670 Brattleboro Rd, 603-336-5274; North Adams, 826 Curran Mem Hwy, 413-664-6950

Tractor Supply Bennington will have community clinics on February 12th and March 12th from 4:00pm to 5:30pm
