Assistant Director for the Town of Wilmington Middle School Summer Recreation Program
The Town of Wilmington is seeking an Assistant Director for its Middle School Summer Recreation Program that will run half-days Monday through Thursday and full day Fridays, July 7-July 25. The successful candidate will assist in the responsibility of planning, coordinating and facilitating all aspects of the middle school summer rec program and has direct supervision of student counselors and youth enrolled in the program.
Candidates will:
- Have a passion for and experience working with youth ages 11-14
- Be available daily Monday-Thursday, 7:45am-12:30pm and Friday 7:45am-4pm
- Show dependability, self-motivation, creativity, enthusiasm, and supervisory skills.
- Be responsible for:
- Administrative tasks, such as:
- registration
- permission slips
- lunch counts and ordering

Town of Wilmington is hiring Part-time Counselors for its Middle School Summer Recreation Program
Through this position, counselors will serve as a positive role model for middle school campers, while enjoying outdoor fun, guiding recreational activities, and earning some money!
Candidate requirements:
- Have completed grade 10, 11 or 12 in June ‘25
- Have experience working with children in any capacity
Have a positive and collaborative attitude.
- Available for:
- a training in June, date TBA
