  5. Mowing – contract w/ White Acre Farms; approve additional fall cleanup on Hoot, Toot & Whistle needed

  7. Hoot, Toot & Whistle (HTW) update
    • DRB project permit expires 9/29/2026 after 3 years; new permit application underway (Joanne); submittals to Zoning Administrator Alex M. & emails to VT; possible DRB hearing on October 19, 2026 at 5 pm
    • Meeting with Saladino Property Maintenance, Gretchen, Joanne & Carol for (including estimates on muddy section in Segment 3 north of parking area); Segment 1 estimate to finish; how to divide up for upcoming limited grant funding
    • Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant – Fall, pre-application materials came out September 29
    • Long-Term HTW Trail Maintenance/Maintenance Plan – need plan / funding
    • Possibly approve allocating Donorbox funds for the Recreation Trails Program grant match

  11. Access Agreement Project with UVM intern update – info needed Mid-December to UVM; startup end of January 2027

    • Emails – Elynn is key person for website updating, email monitoring, googlegroups, etc. to work with Alan Baker (Update HTW Accessible description on website trail descriptions)
    • Mapping – Jeff Nugent (our mapping/GIS contact at Windham Regional Commission)
  14. New Business
    • Knotweed issues on HTW
    • Vermont Museum of Natural History – Wildlife festival on Sept 20 summary
    • Order signs for new parking area: 1) Wilmington Trails 2) donations from GRH and Rotary Club of Deerfield Valley
    • General sign issues: Jeff’s trailhead signs and how to mesh with existing trailhead signage with trail names
