TOWN OF WILMINGTON, VERMONT
PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY PROJECT
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – CLERK OF THE WORKS/TOWN REPRESENTATIVE
The Town of Wilmington, through its Selectboard, Town Manager and Public Safety Facility Committee (collectively ‘the Town’), requests proposals from qualified CLERK OF THE WORKS to provide professional services for the proposed construction of the Wilmington Public Safety Facility, to be located at 40 Beaver Street, Wilmington, Vermont, due at noon on March 11, 2021. The Town seeks to create a list of qualified persons/firms for final selection. Voters must approve this $5.5M project for the Town to move forward with construction; the vote is scheduled for March 2, 2021, via Australian Balloting. It is the intent of the Town to select a firm by April 6, 2021. Construction is expected to begin by April 30, 2021, with Facility completion and commissioning by June 30, 2022. Selection of a Clerk of the Works/Town Representative is conditional upon voter approval. The RFP can be viewed in its entirety at www.wilmingtonvermont.us.
