The Town of Wilmington, Vermont is seeking an energetic, innovative and effective Administrative Clerk, starting part-time 24-hours per week, with no benefits.  This job could become a full-time position, up to 35-hours per week, plus benefits. Wilmington is a scenic Vermont four season tourist destination with a population of 2,255 located in the heart of the Deerfield Valley, home to Mount Snow and Haystack Mountain; with a walkable historic village, restaurants and stores, lakes for boating and swimming, trails for hiking and biking; and much more!

The Administrative Clerk in the Listers’ Office/or/proposed Assessor’s Office is a new position. Currently, this position will apprentice with the Board of Listers’ Administrator, responsible to the Town Manager. On March 7, 2023, the Selectboard will ask the voters to authorize the elimination of the office of Town Lister and replace it with a professionally qualified assessor.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, prefer Associates Degree and experience in local government, public relations, office practice. Consideration is made for qualifications in a related field and/or a combination of training, experience, knowledge and ability as an Administrative Clerk or Administrative Assistant.
