WILMINGTON – Town Meeting is Tuesday, March 6, 2018.  The deadline for filing petitions with the Wilmington Town Clerk for articles to be included in the Town Meeting warning is 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 18.  Petitions for articles must be signed by 5% of Wilmington registered voters (78 signatures).

Nominating petitions for town and school offices are now available at the Town Clerk’s office and on the town website www.wilmingtonvermont.us, and are due by 5:00p.m., Monday, January 29.  Nominating petitions must be signed by 1% of the registered voters (16 signatures).

For information about voter registration, vacant offices or how to petition call (464-5836) or stop in the Town Clerk’s office during regular hours.  For registering to vote online go to Vermont Secretary of State voter registration information at https://www.sec.state.vt.us/elections/voters/registration.aspx .

2018 Dog Licenses and renewals are available after January 1, 2018 at the Town Clerk’s office.  A dog must have had a rabies inoculation not more than 36 months prior to the date of licensing for older dogs.  Not more than 12 months for puppies.  A rabies certificate is required for licensing.
