DATE: August 16, 2019
LOCATION: Route 100 through the towns of Wilmington, Dover, and Stratton. It begins in Wilmington at the intersection of East Main Street and North Main Street, continuing for 11.605 miles through the towns of Dover and Stratton, ending near the Stratton/Wardsboro town line (near Penny Avenue).
TRAFFIC IMPACT: For the week of Monday, August 19 – Friday, August 23, 2019, motorists can expect intermittent periods of alternating one-way traffic along the construction route as the contractor begins cold planning of old pavement surface. Flaggers will be present to guide motorists through the work zone and manage traffic safely.
DURATION: During the Summer/Fall 2019 construction season, crews will be working 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Crews are anticipated to wrap up work for the 2019 season in October.
PROJECT COMPLETION: July 2020
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES/NOTICES: Beginning Monday, August 19, 2019 crews will continue course milling the roadway along Route 100 in Wilmington working north. Crews will also begin shoulder reconstruction and the removal of shoulder berm.
