The Town of Wilmington is accepting proposals for repairs to the River Bank Park Arbor. Repairs will be done in a professional workman like manner, with all state and local permitting to be the responsibility of the contractor.  Contractor will specifically identify 2-3 dates to completion. Work to be done includes:

a.       Replace tree posts with black locust indigenous to southern Vermont and similar in design.

b.       Inspected decking (material used is black locust).

c.       Create air space (2-inch gap) for drying purposes; air dry.

d.       Add copper, lead or rubber caps on the top of the trees.

e.       Rafters are to be replaced using black locust and similar in design.

f.        Brick walkway to be repaired and reset, as needed.

g.       Remove debris.


Bidder that is awarded the contract is required to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance for $1,000,000 and naming the town as an additional insured.
